Board Meeting Minutes
February 9
The regular meeting of the Village of Divernon Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday February 9, 2011, at the Divernon Village Hall. Acting Mayor Randy Rhodes called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. After all in attendance recited the Pledge of Allegiance, The Clerk called roll call: Acting Mayor Rhodes “Here”, Tom Burke “Here”, Randy Rieke “Here”, and Dianne Brenning “Here”. Also present Superintendent Larry Rhodes and Administrative Assistant Jan Bowsher Treasurer Lucille Hundley Not present Melissa Layton, Joe Bukantos and Kelly Horn.
The minutes for the January 26th regular meeting were presented. After any additions or corrections were made a motion to approve was made by T. Burke. Second D. Brenning. Motion passed 4-0.
The bills were presented for approval. After additions and corrections motion to approve bills by R. Rieke. Second by T. Burke. Motion passed 4-0.
Supervisor (L. Rhodes):
Supervisor Rhodes stated has depleted the rock salt and will be ordering more.
Police:
Administrative Assistant Jan Bowsher stated uniforms have been ordered to supply necessary officers.
Treasurer (L. Hundley):
Monthly Treasure’s presented.
Committee Reports
Public Works, Streets, Alleys, and Utilities (J. Bukantos):
Nothing to report.
Acting Mayor Rhodes stated the paperwork received from Benton and Associates has been signed and forwarded to DECO for approval.
Finance (R. Rieke):
Nothing to report.
Personnel/Human Resources (K. Horn):
Nothing to report.
Health & Safety (T. Burke):
Nothing to report.
Community Development (M. Layton):
Nothing to report.
Building, Grounds and Lights (D. Brenning):
D. Brenning stated the back door has been fixed and the siding will be repaired as soon as available.
Old Business
Acting Mayor Rhodes presented a letter to the Board regarding the utility charges. The item is tabled for next meeting.
New Business
Discussion was held on the unpaid utility bills.
